The tv is one of the most important inventions of the
humanity. It is a system for the transmission and receipt of images and sound
that simulate movement. The first public emission of television was in England
in 1936 and since then it has transformed the life of millions of people into
the whole world.
The Tv is a “window to the world” for more people, it is a
space that allows to know new cultures, places and realities. However, in the
last years it has been manipulated and controlled by economic interests of its owners, leaving of side the social role that initially characterized the TV.
There are many channels and TV programs, focused on
different areas: sport, music, entertainment, information, education etc. and I
hope that the cultural programs increase and the advertising diminishes, because the
people need to learn and not to become more ignorant.
